Safety

The construction industry faces significant challenges. Productivity has consistently lagged behind other industries, while safety risks remain high. At Hilti, we are committed to making construction better through our approach to jobsite and building safety. Discover how we help our customers address some of the industry's most pressing challenges.

SAFER JOBSITES

We design our products to enhance safety and comfort, to help reduce risks and improve working conditions on-site. Our technologies help address the main jobsite safety challenges: accidents and injuries, physical strain and exposure to dust and other harmful substances.

SAFER JOBSITES

We aim to be our customers’ best partner for safety.

Our human augmentation solutions, such as the EXO-S and EXO-T exoskeletons, are designed to reduce physical strain during overhead and repetitive tasks, helping teams work more comfortably.

Jaibot, the semi-autonomous drilling robot takes over strenuous overhead drilling based on digital plans, improving productivity while reducing dust exposure and physical effort.

Our Fleet Management program ensures tool parks are optimized, regularly maintained, and fully compliant, giving customers predictable costs and access to the latest technologies.

Construction software streamlines equipment tracking and workforce certification management, making audit readiness simple and helping maintain high safety standards across every project.

SAFETY AND COMFORT FEATURES

Our products are designed and engineered with safety in mind. Grinding, cutting, drilling, breaking and chasing may create hazardous dust which can negatively impact health and safety. In addition, construction dust does not always stay at the jobsite, but can spread to other areas impacting people, nature and the environment.

Hilti Dust Removal Systems

Dust Removal Systems and solutions including the VC 4X-22 T15dust extractor, air cleaners and hollow drill bits.

Active Torque Control

Active Torque Control prevents tool kickback that could cause immediate injury in combihammers, screwdrivers and cutoff saws.

SensTech

If the tool senses that the user's hand has moved or no longer has tool contact, such as loss of control or accidental dropping, it automatically shuts off the motor.

Active Vibration Reduction

In the construction industry, workers are unavoidably exposed to some vibration when they drill, chisel, break or grind materials. However, reduced power tool vibration helps keep construction workers more comfortable and, therefore, more productive.

Advance and promote building safety standards

At Hilti, we help customers embed safety into critical phases of construction - from design to installation, ensuring safety standards and beyond.

Design for safety: Empowering engineers to plan for structural integrity, MEP system stability and fire protection from the start. Our tools and software help embed safety directly into building designs, supporting resilience in challenging environments, including seismic activity, corrosive conditions and even explosive areas - high ignition risk or prone to ignition.

Build as specified: Helping bring those designs to life with products and services that help reduce complexity, support intuitive installation and can improve consistency on-site.
