Hilti Scholarship Program 2025 (Undergraduates)

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Aspiring talent, currently midway through their undergraduate studies (year 1 or year 2) or pre-university leavers planning to pursue a degree in IT, computer science or software engineering.

Eligibility

To apply for the Hilti Scholarship Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Excellent Academic Achievements: 

  • Consistent minimum CGPA of 3.5 or First Class Honour / Dean List Award for students currently enrolled in or undertaking their first or second year of undergraduate studies (preferred candidate).
  • Latest pre-university results with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or equivalent (for pre-university leavers only).
  • Minimum 5As in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) OR Excellent O-level grades at IGCSE (A*/A).

Leadership Qualities: Proven leadership through participation in extracurricular activities. Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills.

Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.

Citizenship & Work Authorization: Malaysian citizens or foreigners eligible to work in Malaysia without any visa sponsorship required.

Recommendation Letter: A letter of recommendation from a teacher, lecturer or school representative is highly recommended, but not mandatory.

Have obtained admission into a recognized higher education institution in Malaysia.

No concurrent scholarships tied to financial aid obligations (e.g., bonded sponsorship).

HOW TO APPLY

Aspiring talent, currently midway through their undergraduate studies (year 1 or year 2) or pre-university leavers planning to pursue a degree in IT, computer science or software engineering.

Step 1: Apply Online
Complete the online application form and submit your CV and a one-page write-up about the scholarship application. 

Step 2: Digital Interview
Answer a few questions from a pre-recorded video interview to showcase your skills and motivation.

Step 3: Interview Assessment
Short-listed candidates will meet with senior Hilti leaders and members of our management team for two rounds of interviews. Note: Only short-listed candidates will be notified and invited to the interview session. 

Step 4: Scholarship Award
Successful candidates will be notified when they receive the scholarship award.
